  The new owner has done a fabulous job of renovating the place to make it a very quaint and local cafe that serves coffee and tea with nibbles ranging from soups, light meals to desserts. The decor includes aspects of her life and travels while the food includes the basics like lasagna and meat pies.
  
  I had both the shepherd's pie and lasagna and both reminded me much of the flavors of homecooking without all the fancy flares. The lemon meringue pie was not only huge but very tart and sweet, definitely hitting my sweet spot. It was also great to people watch as the holidays brought in much of the locals with a scattering of tourists.

  what a wonderful place for coffee and cake. Self playing piano and nice old house. This is a must stay
